North American Central School Bus is the fourth largest school bus operator in the U.S., transporting more than 150,000 children to and from school each day. Their drivers come with a wide range of experience, so they needed to find a training solution that would help their drivers learn faster and retain more. Robertson County School District, located in Springfield, Tennessee, serves more than 11,000 pre-K through 12th grade students. A self-described “school bus nut,” Transportation Director Joshua Hinerman began his school bus career as a driver at age 21 and was appointed Director at the age of 28.
